Trabzon, whose history stretches back into very early times, is a hub of cultural and natural riches in the eastern Black Sea Region.
My trip to Trabzon was for three days, I wandered around in several places, the region is safe and easy to walk around for me as a girl. People are very friendly there and helpful.
The city, which is one of the largest cities in Turkey on the Black Sea, is distinguished by its historical monuments and amazing nature.
Airport: There is Trabzon Airport in the city, which receives both domestic and international flights
The airport is close to the city center, and the transportation fee there is cheap, and the taxi prices are good compared to the prices in Istanbul.
Food: There are many Turkish dishes that are said to belong to Trabzon, but perhaps the most famous of them is (Mıhlama), which is a type of cheese cooked with butter and corn flour.
These are the most famous food in Trabzon:
- Trabzon Pidesi
- Kaygana
- Akçaabat Köfte
- Laz Böreği
- Hamsili Pilav
- Mıhlama
- Mısır Ekmeği
- Karalahana Sarması
- Hamsi
- Burma Tatlı
It was one of my very enjoyable trips, I really enjoyed every single moment
The best time to visit it: If you preferred the cold weather so you will like this city. You can visit it in all seasons. In my opinion best to visit it is in the months from May to September. The weather will be good & sunny most of the days. In the months from October to May the weather is rainy / snowy most days. But if you like the winter weather and snow, then you will definitely have fun in the city in winter.

Uzungöl, the most famous region in Trabzon. Where the lake is surrounded by mountains and hotels scattered there
You can visit it for a day and enjoy breakfast in one of its restaurants overlooking the lake. Perhaps this photo is the most popular in Instagram when searching for Uzungol specifically.
